machine translationKhālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿAnbasah b. ʿAbd al-Wāḥid, Khālid b. ʿAbdullāh, Abū ʿAwānah, ʿAlī b. ʿĀṣim and ʿUmar b. Sinān al-Ṣafadī narrated it from Khālid, from Yūsuf b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Hushaym narrated it from Khālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ, from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from Abū Hurayrah, and on one occasion he said: from Yūsuf b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from his father. ʿUmar b. Sinān also narrated it from Khālid b. Mihrān al-Ḥadhdhāʾ with another chain, from Ibn Sīrīn, from Abū Hurayrah. Ibn ʿUlayyah transmitted it as a mursal report from Khālid, from Yūsuf b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from the Prophet ﷺ. Maʿmar said: from Khālid, from a man of the family of Sīrīn, from Abū Hurayrah. The correct version is from Khālid, from Yūsuf b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah.
