( أَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِي، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْكِلَابِيِّ، قَالَ:

عَلَّمَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ ؓ رَجُلًا الْقُرْآنَ، فَأَتَى الْيَمَنَ، فَأَهْدَى لَهُ قَوْسًا، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنْ أَخَذْتَهَا فَخُذْ بِهَا قَوْسًا مِنَ النَّارِ.
