The time for prayer came, so whoever had a house nearby went to his family to perform ablution, and some people remained. Then a stone basin containing water was brought to the Prophet ﷺ. The basin was too small for him to spread his hand in it, yet all the people performed ablution. We said: "How many were they?" He said: "Eighty and more."
