أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ اخْتَصَمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي مَتَاعٍ لَيْسَ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اسْتَهِمَا عَلَى الْيَمِينِ مَا كَانَ أَحَبَّا ذَلِكَ أَوْ كَرِهَا

Abī Razīn, Isḥāq al-Azraq and ʿAbbād b. Wahīb narrated it from Saʿīd, and that is the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version. It was also narrated from Makkī b. Ibrāhīm, from Saʿīd b. Abī ʿArūbah, from Khallās b. ʿAmr, from Abū Hurayrah, without mentioning Abū Rāfiʿ. Perhaps it dropped out for some of those who narrated it from him, because Makkī was one of the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ).
