( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْأَرْدَسْتَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، قَالَ:
أُتِيَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ بِابْنِ الصَّعْبَةِ قَدِ ابْتَهَرَ امْرَأَةً فِي شِعْرِهِ، قَالَ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى مُؤْتَزَرِهِ، فَنَظَرُوا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا أَنْبَتَ الشَّعَرَ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ أَنْبَتَ الشَّعَرَ لَجَلَدْتُهُ الْحَدَّ
