وَفِيمَا أَجَازَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنِ الشَّافِعِيِّ، عَنْ بَعْضِ مَنْ كَانَ يُنَاظِرُهُ فِي هَذِهِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ، فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ:

أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ ؓ أَغْرَمَ رَجُلًا ثَمَنَ كَلْبٍ قَتَلَهُ عِشْرِينَ بَعِيرًا
