حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَي شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا زَيْدٍ الْقَسْمَلِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً، فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: فِي الْمَذْيِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ

✧ I was a man who emitted madhiy frequently, so I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that. He said: "For madhiy, ablution is required; and for semen, a full bath."
