حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَا يَسُرُّنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ، وَلَا أَنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ، قَالَ: أَوَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ

✧ They said: O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves something that we would be delighted to speak of, and would not wish that we had all that the sun rises upon. He said: Have you found that? They said: Yes. He said: That is pure faith.
