حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ

كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَمُرُّ بِنَا وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ مِنَ الْمِطْهَرَةِ فَيَقُولُ لَنَا: أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ

Translation

✧ Abu Hurayrah would pass by us while we were performing ablution from the water skins and say to us: Complete the ablution thoroughly. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Woe to the heels from the Fire.
