حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَنْذِرُوا فَإِنَّالنَّذْرَ لَا يُقَدِّمُ مِنَ الْقَدَرِ شَيْئًا وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not make vows, for a vow does not bring forward anything from destiny; rather, it only extracts [wealth] from the miser.'
