حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ، وَالْكُفْرُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالرِّيَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ، يَأْتِي الْمَسِيحُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ وَهِمَّتُهُ الْمَدِينَةُ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ دُبُرَ أُحُدٍ ضَرَبَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَجْهَهُ قِبَلَ الشَّامِ هُنَالِكَ يَهْلِكُ
Translation

✧ Faith is Yemeni, disbelief is toward the east, tranquility is among the people of sheep, and pride and ostentation are among the owners of loud-voiced camels. The Messiah will come from the east, and his intention will be Madinah, until when he reaches the rear of Uhud, the angels will strike his face toward Syria, and there he will perish.
