حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقُرَشِيِّ أَوْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُبْيَدِ اللهِ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ يَدْعُو فِي دُبُرِ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ اللَّهُمَّ خَلِّصِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَضَعَفَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْ أَيْدِي الْمُشْرِكِينَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ سَبِيلًا.

✧ He used to supplicate after the Zuhr prayer: O Allah, deliver al-Walid b. al-Walid, Salamah b. Hisham, 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah, and the weak among the Muslims from the hands of the polytheists, those who can find no stratagem and do not know the way.
