حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَأْسِي ضُرِبَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَتَدَهْدَهُ، فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَطْرُقُ أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيُهَوَّلُ لَهُ، ثُمَّ يَغْدُو يُخْبِرُ النَّاسَ
Translation

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'I saw my head being struck, and I saw it roll away.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled and then said, 'Satan comes to one of you and terrifies him, then he goes and tells the people.'
