حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّتْ بِهِ جِنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ فَقَامَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّهَا جِنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِلْمَوْتِ فَزَعًا

✧ A Jewish funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he stood up. It was said to him, “O Messenger of Allah, it is a Jewish funeral.” He said, “Death is a cause for alarm.”
