حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

خَمْسٌ مِنْ حَقِّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ: رَدُّ التَّحِيَّةِ، وَإِجَابَةُ الدَّعْوَةِ، وَشُهُودُ الْجِنَازَةِ، وَعِيَادَةُ الْمَرِيضِ، وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ إِذَا حَمِدَ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ]

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. Bishr
  2. Muḥammad b. ʿAmr
  3. Abū Salamah
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Five are the rights of a Muslim over another Muslim: returning the greeting, accepting the invitation, attending the funeral, visiting the sick, and blessing someone who sneezes when they praise Allah [Mighty and Majestic].
