حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا يَصُومُ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ الْأَعْمَالَ تُعْرَضُ كُلَّ اثْنَيْنِ وَخَمِيسٍ - أَوْ كُلَّ يَوْمِ اثْنَيْنِ وَخَمِيسٍ - فَيَغْفِرُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ - أَوْ لِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ - إِلَّا الْمُتَهَاجِرَيْنِ فَيَقُولُ: أَخِّرْهُمَا

Translation

✧ He used to fast most on Mondays and Thursdays. He was asked, and he said: 'Deeds are presented every Monday and Thursday – or every Monday and Thursday – and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, forgives every Muslim – or every believer – except two who have severed relations; He says: "Delay them."
