حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ يَعْنِي سُهَيْلًا عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يُخْبِرُهُمْ ذَلِكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

إِذَا كَفَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ صَنْعَةَ طَعَامِهِ، وَكَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ، فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيَأْخُذْ لُقْمَةً، فَلْيُرَوِّغْهَا ثُمَّ لْيُعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet, ﷺ, it was narrated that when one of you is sufficient with his servant providing him with his food, clothing, and tobacco, then he should make him sit with him and let him eat. If he refuses, then he should take a morsel, chew it, and then give it to him.
