machine translationMuḥammad b. Wāsiʿ narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mukhtār narrated it from Muḥammad b. Wāsiʿ, from Sumayr b. Nahār, from Abū Hurayrah; Shaybān al-Naḥwī said that from him. Isrāʾīl narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mukhtār and said: from Muḥammad b. Wāsiʿ, from Sahm b. Nahār. It was also said, from Isrāʾīl with this chain, from Nahār, from Abū Hurayrah. Ḥammād b. Salamah said: from Muḥammad b. Wāsiʿ, from Shutayr b. Nahār, from Abū Hurayrah. Ṣadaqah b. Mūsā said: from Muḥammad b. Wāsiʿ, from Sumayr b. Nahār, from Abū Hurayrah. ʿAbd al-Salām b. Ḥarb said: from Muḥammad b. Wāsiʿ, from Nahār al-ʿAbdī, from Abū Hurayrah. The most likely of the statements is the statement of the one who said: from Sumayr b. Nahār, from Abū Hurayrah.
