✧ I set out with my father to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when we were partway along the road, we met him. My father said to me: "O my son, this is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: I used to think that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not resemble people, and behold, he was a man with a flowing head of hair, with traces of henna in it, wearing two green garments. He said: It is as if I am looking at his two shins. He said: He said to my father: "Who is this with you?" He said: "This, by Allah, is my son." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed because of my father's oath about me, then said: "You have spoken the truth. Verily, you will not be guilty of a crime against him, nor will he be guilty of a crime against you." He said: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another" (Qur'an 6:164).
