حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أَسْأَلُكَ عَمَّا
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَقَالَ: إِنَّمَا أَسْأَلُكَ عَمَّا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَلَا أَسْأَلُكَ عَنِ التَّوْرَاةِ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ
Translation

✧ A man came to Abdullah b. Amr and said, "I ask you only about what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I do not ask you about the Torah." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe."
