حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَبْشَةَ السَّلُولِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَرْبَعُونَ حَسَنَةً أَعْلَاهَا مِنْحَةُ الْعَنْزِ لَا يَعْمَلُ عَبْدٌ، أَوْ قَالَ: رَجُلٌ بِخَصْلَةٍ مِنْهَا رَجَاءَ ثَوَابِهَا، وَتَصْدِيقَ مَوْعُودِهَا إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ بِهَا الْجَنَّةَ

Translation

✧ Forty good deeds, the highest of which is giving a she-goat as a gift. No servant - or he said: man - performs any one of them hoping for its reward and affirming its promise except that Allah admits him to Paradise because of it.
