✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was in pain, and I was saying, "O Allah, if my appointed time has come, give me rest; and if it is later, raise me up; and if it is a trial, give me patience." He said, "What did you say?" I repeated it for him, and he struck me with his foot and said, "What did you say?" He said: I repeated it for him, and he said, "O Allah, grant him well-being, or heal him." He said: After that, I never complained of that pain again.
