حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَّعَ وَهِيَ الْبُوَيْرَةُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ burned the palm trees of Banu al-Nadir and cut them down—that is al-Buwayrah—so Allah, Exalted, revealed: "Whatever palm trees you cut down or left standing on their roots..." to the end of the verse.
