Musnad Ahmad 6058

Translation

✧ Do not sell fruit until its ripeness is apparent; he forbade the seller and the buyer. And the Messenger of God ﷺ forbade muzābanah: that one sell the fruit of his orchard, if it is date palms, for dates by measure; if it is a vineyard, that he sell it for raisins by measure; and if it is a crop, that he sell it for a known measure. He forbade all of that.
