✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people on the Day of the Conquest and said: "Indeed, the blood money for intentional killing that resembles mistake, committed with a whip or a stick, is made severe: one hundred camels, of which forty are pregnant she-camels with their young in their bellies. Indeed, every blood, wealth, and privilege that existed in the pre-Islamic era is under my feet, except for the watering of the pilgrims and the custodianship of the House, for I have confirmed them for their people."

machine translationThis is a hadith about which there is disagreement on the authority of al-Qāsim b. Rabīʿah. It is narrated from him from Ibn ʿUmar, and from him from Ibn ʿAmr. Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl narrated it as a mursal report from al-Qāsim b. Rabīʿah, and Khālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ said: from al-Qāsim, from ʿUqbah b. Aws, from Ibn ʿUmar. And this is more likely.
in مسند أحمد, p. 5876 - Yaḥyá b. Maʿīn
machine translationʿAlī b. Zayd is nothing (laysa bi-shayʾ). The ḥadīth is the ḥadīth of Khālid; it is only from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr.
in مسند أحمد, p. 5876 - Ibn al-Qaṭṭān
