حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَافَرْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ، فَكَانَا لَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَكُنَّا ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَانَا اللهُ بِهِ، فَبِهِ نَقْتَدِي
Translation

✧ I traveled with the Prophet ﷺ and with Umar, and they would not add more than two rak'ahs. We were astray and Allah guided us by him, so we follow him.
