حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ: أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Abū Saʿīd a freed slave of Banī Hāshim
- Isrāʾīl
- Abū Isḥāq
- al-Ḥārithiʿan ʿAlī
✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought protection for a sick person, he would say: Remove the hardship, Lord of the people. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness.
