حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ - يَعْنِي: لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ - فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلَا يُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Seek it in the last ten nights—meaning Laylat al-Qadr—and if one of you weakens or is unable, then let him not be overcome in the remaining seven.
