✧ We came with Ibn Umar from Makkah while we were traveling with him, and with him were Hafs b. Asim b. Umar and Musahiq b. Amr b. Khidash. The sun set for us, and one of them said to him: The prayer. He did not answer him. Then the other said to him: The prayer. He did not answer him. Nafi said: So I said to him: The prayer. He said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ, when travel hurried him, combine these two prayers. So I want to combine them. He said: So we traveled for miles, then he dismounted and prayed.
