✧ A man called out to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "What clothes may we wear when we enter ihram?" He said: "Do not wear shirts, turbans, hooded cloaks, or trousers. Do not wear leather socks, except for one who cannot find sandals—(and Yahya once said: unless a man has no sandals)—then let him cut them so that they are below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars (yellow dye) or saffron."
