حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ أُحِبُّهَا، وَكَانَ أَبِي يَكْرَهُهَا، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَيْتُ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ: يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ، طَلِّقِ امْرَأَتَكَ، فَطَلَّقْتُهَا

✧ There was a wife under my care whom I loved, and my father disliked her. He ordered me to divorce her, but I refused. He went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Prophet sent for me and said, 'O Abdullah, divorce your wife,' so I divorced her.
