حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِقْدَامِ بْنِ وَرْدٍ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَلَمْ يَرْمُلْ، فَقُلْتُ: لِمَ تَفْعَلُ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، كُلًّا قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ، رَمَلَ وَتَرَكَ

✧ I saw Ibn ‘Umar perform tawaf between al-Safa and al-Marwa and he did not raml. I said: “Why do you do this?” He said: “Yes, I have seen the Messenger of God ﷺ do both: he did raml and he left it.”
