حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ
أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الذِّئْبِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ يَعْنِي وَالْفَأْرَةَ، وَالْغُرَابَ وَالْحِدَأَ. فَقِيلَ لَهُ: فَالْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ؟ فَقَالَ: قَدْ كَانَ يُقَالُ ذَاكَ.
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the killing of the wolf for the one in ihram, meaning the mouse, the crow, and the kite. It was said to him: What about the snake and the scorpion? He said: That used to be said.
