قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الْبَيِّعَانِ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ، فَالْقَوْلُ مَا يَقُولُ صَاحِبُ السِّلْعَةِ، أَوْ يَتَرَادَّانِ.

Translation

✧ When the two parties to a sale disagree and there is no evidence between them, the word is what the owner of the goods says, or they may return the goods.
