حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ أَنْظُرَ فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُيُوتَهُمْ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الْجُمُعَةَ.

Translation

✧ I was about to command a man to lead the people in prayer, then look and burn down the houses of people who do not attend the Friday prayer.
