I said: "O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, what hour of visit is this?" That was at midday. He said: "The day felt long for me, so I remembered someone to talk to." He said: Then he began narrating to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I narrated to him. He said: Then he began to narrate to me, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There will be a tribulation: the one sleeping in it is better than the one lying down, and the one lying down in it is better than the one sitting, and the one sitting in it is better than the one standing, and the one standing in it is better than the one walking, and the one walking is better than the one riding, and the one riding is better than the one running. All its slain are in the Fire." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, and when is that?" He said: "That is in the days of al-harj." I said: "And when are the days of al-harj?" He said: "When a man does not trust his companion." I said: "What do you command me if I live to see that?" He said: "Restrain yourself and your hand, and enter your house." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if a man enters my house upon me?" He said: "Then enter your room." I said: "What do you think if he enters upon me in my room?" He said: "Then enter your mosque, and do like this," and he grasped his right wrist with his left hand, "and say: My Lord is Allah, until you die upon that."
