حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ ( أَوْ قَالَ: نِدَاءُ بِلَالٍ ) مِنْ سَحُورِهِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ يُؤَذِّنُ ( أَوْ قَالَ: يُنَادِي ) لِيَرْجِعَ قَائِمُكُمْ، وَلْيَنْتَبِهْ نَائِمُكُمْ، ثُمَّ لَيْسَ أَنْ يَقُولَ هَكَذَا ( أَوْ قَالَ: هَكَذَا ) حَتَّى يَقُولَ هَكَذَا.

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should prevent Bilal's Adhan or said, Bilal's call for the pre-dawn meal, as he gives the Adhan or said, calls out to make the reciter of Quran stand up while reminding the sleeper until he says: like this,’ or ‘he says: like this.’"
