✧ The creation of one of you is gathered in his mother's womb for forty nights, then he becomes a clinging clot for the like of that, then he becomes a lump for the like of that, then God, Mighty and Majestic, sends to him an angel from among the angels, who says: Write his deeds, his term, his provision, and write him wretched or blessed. Then he said: By Him in whose hand is the soul of 'Abd Allah, a man may do the deeds of the people of Paradise until there is between him and Paradise but a cubit, then wretchedness overtakes him, so he does the deeds of the people of the Fire and dies and enters the Fire. Then he said: By Him in whose hand is the soul of 'Abd Allah, a man may do the deeds of the people of the Fire until there is between him and the Fire but a cubit, then blessedness overtakes him, so he does the deeds of the people of Paradise and dies and enters Paradise.
