حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَطْمُورَةِ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فَاقَةٌ فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ لَمْ تُسَدَّ فَاقَتُهُ، وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوْشَكَ اللهُ لَهُ بِالْغِنَى؛ إِمَّا أَجَلٍ عَاجِلٍ، أَوْ غِنًى عَاجِلٍ.

✧ Whoever is afflicted with poverty and lays it before the people, his poverty will not be relieved; but whoever lays it before Allah, Mighty and Majestic, Allah will soon grant him richness—either a swift death or swift wealth.
