حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ خُمَيْرِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَرَأْتُ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَبْعِينَ سُورَةً، وَإِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ لَهُ ذُؤَابَةٌ فِي الْكُتَّابِ.

Translation

  2. Sufyān
  3. Abū Isḥāq
  4. Khumayr b. Mālik
  5. ʿAbdullāh

I read from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seventy Surahs, and Zaid ibn Thabit had excellence in writing them down.
