✧ The two sons of Mulaykah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Our mother used to honor the husband and be affectionate to the child. He said: And he mentioned the guest, except that she buried a daughter alive in the Jahiliyyah? He said: Your mother is in the Fire. They turned away with evil visible on their faces. He ordered that they be brought back. They returned with joy visible on their faces, hoping that something had happened. He said: My mother is with your mother. A man from the hypocrites said: What does this avail his mother at all, while we tread on his heels? A man from the Ansar said: I have never seen a man more given to asking questions than him. O Messenger of Allah, has your Lord promised you regarding her or them? He said: He thought it was from something he had heard. He said: I did not ask my Lord about it, and He did not make me eager for it. I shall stand at the Praiseworthy Station on the Day of Resurrection. The Ansari said: O Messenger of Allah, what is that Praiseworthy Station? He said: That is when you are brought naked, barefoot, and uncircumcised. The first to be clothed will be Ibrahim. He will say: Clothe my friend. Then two white garments will be brought and he will put them on. Then he will sit facing the Throne. Then my clothing will be brought and I will put it on. I will stand at his right in a station no one else will stand in; the first and the last will envy me for it. He said: And a river from al-Kawthar will be opened to the Pond. The hypocrites said: Water never flows except over pebbles or small stones. He said: O Messenger of Allah, over pebbles or small stones? He said: Its pebbles are musk, and its small stones are pearls. The hypocrite said: I have never heard anything like today. Water rarely flows over pebbles or small stones without having plants. The Ansari said: O Messenger of Allah, does it have plants? He said: Yes, rods of gold. The hypocrite said: I have never heard anything like today. A rod rarely grows without leafing or bearing fruit. The Ansari said: O Messenger of Allah, does it have fruit? He said: Yes, colors of jewels. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Whoever drinks from it a drink will never thirst after it, and whoever is deprived of it will never be quenched after it.
