حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي يَهْبِطُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى سُؤْلَهُ؟ فَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ.

✧ When the remaining third of the night comes, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, descends to the lowest heaven, then the gates of heaven are opened, then He spreads out His hand and says: Is there any asker who will be given his request? And He continues thus until the dawn breaks.
