حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

يُودَى الْمُكَاتَبُ بِحِصَّةِ مَا أَدَّى دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ، وَمَا بَقِيَ دِيَةَ عَبْدٍ

Translation

✧ A mukatab (slave with a contract of manumission) pays blood money according to the portion he has paid as that of a free man, and the remainder as that of a slave.
