✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream during the time of Ibn 'Abbas. He said: And Yazid used to write down copies of the Qur'an. He said: I said to Ibn 'Abbas: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream.' Ibn 'Abbas said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to say: "Satan cannot imitate me, so whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me." Can you describe for us this man whom you saw?' He said: I said: 'Yes, I saw a man between two men in body and flesh, brownish leaning toward whiteness, with a beautiful smile, eyes lined with kohl, handsome features of the face, his beard had filled from here to here until it almost filled his chest.' 'Awf said: 'I do not know what other description accompanied this.' He said: Ibn 'Abbas said: 'If you had seen him while awake, you could not have described him better than this.'
