حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَدِرْعُهُ مَرْهُونَةٌ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ بِثَلَاثِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَخَذَهُ طَعَامًا لِأَهْلِهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died while his coat of mail was pawned with a Jew for thirty sāʿs of barley, which he had taken as food for his family.
