حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ
قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَا أُمِرَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فِيهِ، وَسَكَتَ فِيمَا أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْكُتَ فِيهِ: وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا و لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited in what he was commanded to recite, and remained silent in what he was commanded to remain silent: “And your Lord is never forgetful” [19:64], and “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example” [33:21].
