✧ Al-Fadl was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a woman from Khath'am came to ask him a legal question. Al-Fadl began to look at her, and she at him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. She said: “O Messenger of Allah, Allah's obligation upon His servants in the Hajj has come upon my father when he is an old man who cannot remain steady on a mount. May I perform Hajj on his behalf?” He said: “Yes.” That was during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
