✧ Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ and maternal aunt of Ibn Abbas, died. He said: I went with him to Sarif. He said: He praised God and extolled Him, then said: 'The Mother of the Believers — do not shake or jolt her; be gentle. For the Prophet of God had nine wives; he divided his time among eight and did not divide for the ninth' — meaning Safiyya bt. Huyayy. Ata said: 'She was the last of them to die; she died in Madinah.'
