حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

أَهَلَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَلَمْ يُقَصِّرْ، وَلَمْ يَحِلَّ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْهَدْيِ، وَأَمَرَ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ سَاقَ الْهَدْيَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ وَأَنْ يَسْعَى وَأَنْ يُقَصِّرَ، أَوْ يَحْلِقَ، ثُمَّ يَحِلَّ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered into ihram for Hajj. When he arrived, he circumambulated the House, and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and he did not shorten his hair nor exit ihram because of the sacrificial animal. He commanded those who had not brought a sacrificial animal to circumambulate, to perform sa'i, to shorten their hair or shave, and then exit ihram.
