✧ While I was with him, my maternal aunt came to him. She said: She began to ask him questions, and she was wearing two gold bracelets. The Prophet ﷺ said to her: 'Would it please you to have two bracelets of fire on you?' She said: I said, 'O my aunt, he only means these two bracelets of yours.' She said: So she threw them off. She said: 'O Prophet of Allah, when we women do not adorn ourselves, we become disliked by our husbands.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed and said: 'Can one of you not make a necklace of silver and beads of silver, then perfume it with saffron so that it looks like gold? For whoever adorns herself with the weight of a locust's eye of gold - or a small amount - will be branded with it on the Day of Resurrection.'
